I appreciated the flush toilets and access to dump stations for campers. Staff was ver friendly and accessible. It would be nice to have some showers available.

Excellent campground. We were on Loop B and had a perfect view over Prayer Lake. Many excellent and varied hiking options start at the north shore trailhead.

Beautiful location/setting. The lake and trails , Mountain View’s do not disappoint.
The bathrooms are clean and conveniently located. The bear boxes are shared. Unfortunately we were only able to reserve one night which was not enough! Just means we will need to come back.

Gorgeous place to camp. Our site wasn't ideal. We had a tent, but it looked more for a small pull through trailer. The description listed tents as an option, but you wouldn't know that our particular site wasn't really conducive to tents until you get there. That was a little frustrating. Not each site has it's own bear box (like in Tetons), so that was an unknown to us as well. The water had a green or yellow tint to it which included a strange taste. That made it difficult to keep my family hydrated. It was windy for a couple days; I guess that's fairly common for this area. So, there were a few things that were a downer, but really it was a beautiful campground to make our homebase for Glacier National Park. We did many hikes around the area and loved them all. Many of the hikes end in waterfall or incredible overlooks. The rangers were helpful. You can rent a canoe or other boat, or even take a ride to the other side of the lake and back in their original steamboat. You can also fish without a license with no limit on fish caught so long as it's the non-native fish species. Just a few details I wished we'd known ahead of time. :)
