Love this campground. Very quiet, amazing views, amazing wildlife. Some sites are a little overgrown and tricky to get into, though.

I liked having Loop A opening up sites a few days ahead for we locals to get in there without planning weeks in advance.

I am not a hiker but I still enjoy the peace and quiet. Much nicer than the busier West Glacier area. The lake is wonderful. Campground is always clean. I just wish it wasn't so hard to get reservations.
Just know that the first 4 mi is VERY rough driving for campers. It's a SLOW drive but still worth it.

Campgrounds were clean . The store was great and had good food. There are plenty of trails to hike. We were very satisfied with it. We have stayed there about 3 or 4 times always a good time.
