I've camped below the dam many times throughout my life but this was my first time camping at Hunter Cove. The sites were clean and secluded and offered a variety of hook-ups and facilities (bathroom, water, showers, etc.). The view of the lake was wonderful and the site is close to any services you might need in Republican City or Alma.

Very nice. The people were nice and had a playground for the kids. They also had a horseshoe pit. Very clean showers.
