What Guests Are Saying
Hunter Cove is a peaceful and well-maintained campground with friendly staff and clean facilities, making it a favorite among visitors. The scenic location by the St. Lawrence River offers plenty of walking opportunities and a beautiful environment for relaxation. While some areas need improvement, like water access and the availability of sewer hookups, many guests appreciate the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere, returning year after year.

Second trip and plan on it being a yearly event. Great camp, friendly people, not noisey. Lake is absolutely beautiful.

First, the good. Our campsite was great. Shade, wide drive with plenty of parking room and pea gravel instead of just dirt. Great view of the water as well. Our fire ring was gone when we got there and the host told me just to take one from another site. Probably shouldn't have been my job to do that (should have been done already) but it wasn't a big deal.
Now, the bad. ZERO enforcing of quiet hours so everyone around us had generators running 24/7 all weekend long. That did ruin much of the peace and quiet we came to Hunters Cove for. That in itself may be the reason we don't come back.
On top of that, there was a giant group several spots down that stayed up late, playing loud music and people yelling until 2am. Again, no enforcing of quiet hours at all.
Overall, we've always liked both Hunters Cove and Methodist but driving multiple hours to deal with neighbors like that and zero enforcing of the rules, we probably will not be back.

Really enjoyed our time at Harlan Lake. We got to stay in a spot that had both water and electricity. To bad they all don't have water hook ups.

The people running the campground are great had 5 dogs at one camp sight that barked all day and night they was very rude and loud. I go there to enjoy the place not to be at a dog camp

We stopped over for one night during a cross-country road trip. The campsite is situated right on the lake and our campsite was at the waterfront which we really enjoyed. Facilities were clean and the camp host was so sweet! Did spend a full day there so can't speak to the daytime activities in the area.
