The Methodist Park campground need lots of TLC. The full service campground is good but the non spectacular campground areas are somewhat abandoned. Lots of dying trees and just seems to be a footnote to a normally wonderful Army Corps facility. REALLY sorry to say because we are avid Army Corps folks.

Perfect campsite says it all. Big spaces,, full hookup, extremely clean restrooms with showers. And the staff was on top of everything, in all areas. Highly recommended to all!

We spend roughly 5 days at Methodist in primitive sites during the 4th of July time frame every year. Always a great time. Boat ramp access is good, the staff is friendly, facilities are in good working order. This year however they had to close the campground shortly after the 4th due to high water levels in the lake.
