Just a quick stop over, the restroom was clean, flushing toilets, running water
( bring your own TP) the sites were nice, picnic table and fire pit, sites were close together but lots of bushes to separate the sites. A convenient store within walking distance was a nice surprise.

Nice quiet campground. The lake is a bit farther away than the last time we were here. Liked hearing the wild donkeys calling during the night.

This site doesn’t have any shade, whereas the sites next to it have lots of shade. Great view of the lake, just wish there was more shade!

27 was a smaller spot. Spots are close together so you will hear all your neighbors. Site has bathrooms but were not upkept well. Broken toilets and no toilet paper. Scenery was OK. Beautiful night skies. The appeal is driving down to the lake (will be a longer walk). Swimming available at the lake.

Camp sites are large. Potable water nearby. Host was friendly. Toilet facilities very dated and poorly maintained.

We didn't mind having to go online to pay for our spot. The reason we didn't give 5 stars is because not all the spots were on the website.

Requested a specific site to do astrophotography, but when I got there someone was in my space. Luckily was not busy so took another site for 2 nights which no one claimed. Could have been a problem if it was crowded. Also no ranger was available and 2nd bathroom was locked.

Policies & Rules
General
- Lake Mead NRA does require an entrance fee in addition to camping fees. Entrance fees can be purchased on rec.gov or at entrance station locations.• Site capacity maximum is eight persons and four tents or one camping unit (motorhome/camp trailer).## Reservations are required for all sites through this reservation system and can be made the same day as arrival. Cash is not accepted, and sites can only be booked through rec.gov.• Each site can have a maximum of two motorized vehicles, four motorcycles or a combination thereof if towed or carried on or by a camper. • Motor vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas only and may not be driven onto the dirt or across irrigation ditches. • The campground can accommodate RVs, but there are no hookups. • Camping is limited to a total of 90 days at Lake Mead within any consecutive 12-month period.• Camping is limited to 30 days in any developed campground.• All trash must be disposed of in appropriate trash or recycling receptacles. • Pets must be kept on a leash not to exceed 6-feet in length and should not be left unattended. Never leave your pet in a closed vehicle. Pet excrement must be disposed of in trash containers.• Please do not feed wildlife. Wild animals can become dependent on handouts of food and lose their fear of humans. This is dangerous for the wildlife and you. • Trees can provide refreshing shade and a windbreak for campers. It is illegal to cut or damage any tree in a national park.• Fires are permitted in grills, fire rings, portable stoves, portable barbecues and portable fireplaces in all campgrounds.• Fires should not be left unattended and must be completely extinguished with water, doused and stirred. • A campground host may be available onsite to offer assistance. Wireless internet (WIFI) is not available at any campgrounds managed by Lake Mead National Recreation Area~ Phone service works best by the Echo Bay Ranger Station. Other parts of the area have limited to no cell service~
