Windy and noisy, primarily from the overhead traffic. This was my first time, I had chosen #30 because of the nearby spigot, the winds came through the canyon, which is different in that the campground sits adjacent to the wash and I simply didn't realize. Otherwise, people drove by often, and it's beautiful there, much like Las Vegas bay campground. I met Dennis, a volunteer, while the only other camper was on the end where tent camping usually prevails.

Had the place all too our selves, the is running water and a bathroom, only thing to note is that their are wild burros that come near the campground that make loud screeching sounds a few times.

Great and simple camp ground. Will definitely be camping here again! Had a resident kangaroo rat with a great personality visiting our site.

It is very hot in summer I was there during late April and it was very hot in the campsite as a lot of them do not have adequate shade which is expected in the desert. I feel for 20 dollars for campsite + 25 dollars for entry is expensive for a desert camping. I do think the area near the water is very nice relaxing and beautiful. I’d suggest to bring a good umbrella or canopy for shade.

When I turned off the main road to head to the campground, I was dismayed that the drive was still another hour. But as I continued on, I became enthralled and enchanted and amazed by the scenery. The description of the campground failed to mention this, as far as I recall.
The campground itself was fine. My site was a little tight, but most seemed spacious. It was quiet and calm. A good night. It is worth the drive, even if you're staying only for one night.

WORST CAMP GROUND EVER. the bathrooms do not have doors or tp. there is no camp host. there is no shade. really hot and no water. we left early and i would never stay here again

Policies & Rules
General
- Lake Mead NRA does require an entrance fee in addition to camping fees. Entrance fees can be purchased on rec.gov or at entrance station locations.• Site capacity maximum is eight persons and four tents or one camping unit (motorhome/camp trailer).## Reservations are required for all sites through this reservation system and can be made the same day as arrival. Cash is not accepted, and sites can only be booked through rec.gov.• Each site can have a maximum of two motorized vehicles, four motorcycles or a combination thereof if towed or carried on or by a camper. • Motor vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas only and may not be driven onto the dirt or across irrigation ditches. • The campground can accommodate RVs, but there are no hookups. • Camping is limited to a total of 90 days at Lake Mead within any consecutive 12-month period.• Camping is limited to 30 days in any developed campground.• All trash must be disposed of in appropriate trash or recycling receptacles. • Pets must be kept on a leash not to exceed 6-feet in length and should not be left unattended. Never leave your pet in a closed vehicle. Pet excrement must be disposed of in trash containers.• Please do not feed wildlife. Wild animals can become dependent on handouts of food and lose their fear of humans. This is dangerous for the wildlife and you. • Trees can provide refreshing shade and a windbreak for campers. It is illegal to cut or damage any tree in a national park.• Fires are permitted in grills, fire rings, portable stoves, portable barbecues and portable fireplaces in all campgrounds.• Fires should not be left unattended and must be completely extinguished with water, doused and stirred. • A campground host may be available onsite to offer assistance. Wireless internet (WIFI) is not available at any campgrounds managed by Lake Mead National Recreation Area~ Phone service works best by the Echo Bay Ranger Station. Other parts of the area have limited to no cell service~
