We had chosen that spot because it was close to the bathroom but when we got there the bathroom was closed for repairs. the closes bathroom was 3 streets over. It was very hard to walk to because of a bad knee, NO where on the website did it say the bathroom was closed for repair because if it had we would have chosen a different spot but then again there are not a lot of deep spots for a boat & car. Also, there was some kind of group that had a bunch of young boys that were loud and running through camps playing games and the only men's bathroom was totally trashed.

The campground has a lot of shade and water spigots spread throughout. There is no power. The restrooms are functioning but there are a lot of dead and live bugs/moths. It is very very hot there in the summer. The store and restaurant have limited hours and are not really a walkable distance from the campground, especially in the extreme heat. There are RV sites with water & electric scattered in the mobile home park. Not sure if they have sewer hookups but there is a dump station in the campground.

Campground was quiet and lined with beautiful palm trees and flowers. The store is convenient and has everything you need if you should forget anything. We launched our boat with no issues. Thanks to all the staff everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back often.

We love camping there. We had to cut our trip short because it just got hot hot for us.

The park was clean and generally in good condition. A big issue was one of the washrooms was closed, and the second washroom was a pretty far walk from from sites at the other side of the park from the one that was open.

Clean. Lots of trees and bushes, A true oasis in the desert. Quiet. Nicely spaced campsites. Not overcrowded. One of my favorite boondocking type campsites ever!

It’s winter so campground not crowded however multiple groups with small children were present and the parents did nothing when they were still running around shrieking well after 10pm. Somebody running a generator all night. Only 1 of 2 bathrooms open (I was told by a regular the bathroom has been closed for years). Multiple irrigation pipes in the campground broken and pumping water into the desert 24x7. I could go on…. Worst campsite experience to date.

We camped the end of January and it was very quiet. The road going to is paved but rough in spots. Nice place to stop.
