Not enough bathrooms at campground opened. Even the floating one at Burro Cove was closed. Weak telephone connection at campground. Internet cost too much. Not enough campsites for 30' Travel Trailers. Boat ramp not steep enough. Had to go out to far to get Bass Boat off trailer.
but the fishing was good

We had a wonderful time at Temple Bar. We were there over President's Day weekend and there were only a few campers in the campground. It was very peaceful. I would have given 5 stars but we were unable to find a place to fish from the shore that wasn't right near the Marina and the boats. Too much pollution in the water for us. We did drive to Gregg's Hideout and were able to catch 4 fish there. The road in to Gregg's Hideout was extremely rough the last mile or two. Overall...great experience!

All of the employees were very helpful and kind. The campground was clean and noise was kept to minimum. Selling propane and gas was a huge convenience for us.Only con is how far away the grocery store is.

Very well maintained, nice fire pits, and well organized. Host was really nice and even gave us firewood! However, if you want any music at all, forget about it. Multiple music complaints for a portable JBL speaker playing at 30% hours before quiet hours. If you want peace, great place. If you want it a more social setting, choose another.
**Side note: If you have a neighbor noise problem while camping, be an adult and approach them yourselves. Don’t waste valuable enforcement resources by calling it in.**

The campground itself is nice. The hosts are very nice. I only gave 3 stars because the place is very remote. There is no communication with the outside world as there is NO cell and NO Wi-Fi. You can drive down to the local “store “, but reception there is mediocre at best. Bring lots of supplies because the local “store” is a joke. They sell mostly snacks and tourist stuff. The prices there are outrageous and the staff is sometimes nice and some NOT.
