Beautiful site and area. Except for the BRIGHT night sky, you couldn’t tell you’re 1/2 an hour outside of Vegas. Only complaint is how poorly signed the access roads are to find your site. It takes a couple of laps to figure it out.

This is a nice campground very near Las Vegas and Red Rock Canyon NCA.
The campground is exposed and we had fairly high winds during our visit that flattened our tent a number of times, but everything was fine.
The metal sides on the firepits could be higher for windy times, but there is not a lot of brush around the campsites that could easily catch fire.
All the bathrooms are modern pit toilets and water is easily available.

Clean bathrooms, well-spaced campsites, quiet on a Friday night, lovely scenery, and close the scenic drive (reserved separately). Nice sandy pads for tents.
