Camp Hosts were very strict and made the check-in process much more complicated than necessary. Nice simple place to rest while traveling.

Didn't realize when we booked #39 & #48 that we could not pull our van into a spot, just had to park along the side of it. They were still great spots, but would have preferred being able to pull into a spot and park. We would definitely return. Great sunsets and star gazing.

Excellent park. Not a national park, but a national conservation area. Not sure what the difference is, but it is a beautiful place. People camped all over the place, on the road, in trail heads, in the campground. Lots of rock climbers visit here. So close to Vegas. Loop drive was cool, we did it 2x, but saw no tortoise ☹️ visitor center was helpful but small. Restrooms were out of order but they had Porto potty s. Warm here in January.
Lots of hiking possibilities, we did not do any long trails, but they all looked interesting.
