The great- Views are amazing, from your site. See peeks of Red Rock Canyon and cliffs which reminds you of Vermillion cliffs. Clean and simple sites, seem designed for tents and van lifers. Nice large tent platforms. Though close to the metro area, feels isolated. Quiet. Cell service was sketchy but doable on AT&T. Attentive maintenance.
Not great- many parking pads are very unlevel; poor signage entering sites after 9pm night no real directions, pets will experience very rocky surfaces everywhere. One large trash container at entrance for entire grounds, no trash cans within grounds

Red Rock Campground is great, awesome location. Sites are clean, bathrooms clean, hosts were awesome. It is a little exposed - no shelter from sun or wind. In November, the wind was cookin'. I would imagine on hot days, you would get cooked as well. But, can't complain about nature, facilities were great.
