Nice campsites with shade structure, bbq, fire pit with benches.
Oh also nice sand pad for tents. The camp hosts were very nice and the bathrooms were very well kept. Great location about a minute away from red rock canyon.

The camp host was available, friendly, and helpful as we tried to find our walk-to campsite. I could tell a lot of loving maintenance was given to this campground, like with the stone walkway borders. I wanted to stay here again coming back, but it was all booked up, so be sure to get your reservations in early!

Worst rec_gov campground I've ever booked, which is espcially sad given that it is also the most expensive I've ever booked. Most important: The restrooms are all pit toilets; none have running water, inside hygiene sinks or outside utility sinks. The sites are small and cramped. My site's fire pit was right up against the picnic table. The photo of my site showed a ramada covering the table that actually was for the next site over; my table was exposed. No cell phone service despite being only two miles from Summerlin. Avoid this campground if at all possible.

Overall a decent campground. Space between sites is OK, not great.

I am very disappointed in the booking system. The campground is apparently full but only half or less of the sites are actually used! Half should be first come as itβs almost impossible to book π
