What Guests Are Saying

Thomas Canyon offers stunning views, a relaxing atmosphere, and plenty of hiking opportunities, making it a favorite for many campers. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities, well-organized campground, and the nearby creek for swimming. However, some concerns were raised about maintenance issues, such as the lack of a camp host and cleanliness of restrooms, which detracted from the overall experience.

Campground was very clean! We were impressed by the clean tables, fire pits, and restrooms. The camp host obviously took great pride in providing an impeccably clean campground. We would love to visit again!

The 4.4 mile Thomas Creek Hike is well worth it - it was very smoky when we camped, due to the CA wildfires, but the canyon was still absolutely breathtaking. You would never know this beautiful place existed in NV until you got there! Thomas Creek runs through most of the campground, at least in Loop C where we camped. Our campsite was quite small, but it was cozy and surrounded by lots of aspen trees. Campsites are close together, but there are plenty of trees and shrubbery in between so you don't see the next campsite at all. The restrooms were some of the cleanest I saw on my entire 9 day road trip across the Western US :)
