What Guests Are Saying

Laurel Lake Campground offers spacious, clean sites and convenient access to multiple lakes, making it a recommended spot in the Three Lakes region. However, there are limited reservable sites, which can be stressful for travelers. Additionally, the bathroom could benefit from hand sanitizer, but overall, the campground is well-maintained and a favorite among visitors.

Sites were spacious and clean, sites have reasonable room between them and the boat launch nearby is very nice. Would definitely recommend if you're staying in the Three Lakes region.

Its a very nice campground with access to many Lakes. One issue with the campground is the lack of sites available for RESERVING. It seems the only sites available are #3, 4 and 8 when we go into find them. Even thou we are more than 2 weeks out. When we come from 3 hours away having only FF sites is a bit stressful. Not sure the site is up to date as when we arrived we looked at #5 and it had reserved signs on the post. But, when I looked at the website it said available as FF. Confusing.
One other thing, it would be really nice if the bathroom had hand sanitizer. This added feature is very much needed on a bathroom w/o water.
Thanks!

We had a nice time at Laurel Lake Campground. The site was a nice size and had a tent pad. The outhouse was clean and didn’t smell. We would definitely return.

The dock area was not swimmable as there is wetland along the shoreline.

The camp site next to us had a trailer RV on a tent only campsite. They had a mobile generator running most of the time and it was very loud and annoying. Had to cut my trip short because of it.

The site was in absolutely perfect condition. No trash or eyesore. The camp host was amazing and exceptionally accommodating. The forest rangers were very informative and hospitable. The campground itself was amazing and we will most definitely be returning.

Campground outhouse was clean… host is pleasant and helpful. Campsite 11 has limited amount of shade as surrounding trees have either blown down or been cut down. Campsite 10 has a broken tree trunk where the tree is now hung up in the branches of another, making it a “widow maker” . It NEEDS to be dropped before someone gets killed or hurt!

Really love camping at Laurel Lake, two things would make it better...Electrical hookups & docks. I slipped on the muddy bank, fell in and lost my phone in the mud and water, I did find again but if docks were there would not be an issue.
