I visited this campground with my friend Dobromila and I must say that Camp Taylor is truly a hidden gem! The campground is beautifully kept, spacious, and surrounded by nature, which makes it such a peaceful and relaxing escape. The lake is absolutely stunning — perfect for sitting by the water, kayaking, or just soaking in the view. It really adds to the whole experience of being away from the hustle and bustle.
The cabins were wonderful — clean, cozy, and comfortable, with just the right mix of rustic charm and modern convenience. They felt private yet still close enough to enjoy everything the campground has to offer.
The staff deserves a special mention too. They were so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and keeping the campground a special place.
Overall, Camp Taylor is the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy nature, relax by the lake, and stay in cabins that feel like a home away from home. I can’t wait to come back and make even more memories here!

Super clean facility! Sites are quiet and more secluded with lots of room. People are friendly and nice and helpful. Feels like you're alone in the woods which is the whole point of camping ❤️ swimming lake was great. Grounds are spacious and have activities to do and playgrounds! Definitely coming back for more adventures

Went here to visit the wolf sanctuary.
Beautiful campground and would love to stay here since it seems the owner enforces the rules! All the rules are for the peacefulness of camping, and the environment and the animals that live there! All the bad reviews seem to be from people who think the rules dont apply to them then they give a Beautiful campground a ridiculous review based on their bad behavior and the reaction that followed. Thank you campground Taylor for enforcing the rules for the good of all!

I don't have much experience in the campground field but I loved this place as soon as we pulled in and headed toward our site. Beautiful, not on top of each other. Super clean restrooms near by, 30 second walk and your there. 24 hour showers also very clean. Beautiful lake to take the kiddos swimming. We were very happy.

We just got back from a 4 day camping stay at Camp Taylor. We have been coming here for many years now, and usually we come twice a year. The Campground lost power due to a car accident down the street that took out 3 transformers. This did not really effect us except for the bathroom facilities. They owners jumped right on this issue and went and grabbed a generator and hooked it up to the pump house to allow the water facilities to work.
As awlays we were very happy with our time here. We saw the toddler bears a few times, so cute and they just keep to themselves, the deer as usual were so friendly coming to say hello and then moving along. We appreciate the tuck in at night from the staff last rounds to make sure we are all good. We will be back in the fall!!!!
