Policies & Rules
Safety
- These rules are subject to change at the discretion of management at any time. In case of any medical or safety emergency, call 911.
- Parents are responsible for the conduct and safety of their children at all times. Direct adult supervision of all children under 14 years old is required at all times in all campground areas including the game room and play ground.
- These dumpsters are only for trash generated at the park.
- For your safety, if there is a storm approaching, leave the pool area immediately.
- Please do not leave your trash behind.
- Please do not put trash or food scraps in the sinks or drains as it will cause clogs and create issues.
- Campfires are permitted in designated areas only as weather permits.
- Campfires must always be attended and extinguished with water, not sand or gravel.
- Campfires must be out before retiring for the night.
- Please only use the fire rings provided, or you may use your own fully enclosed fire pit.
- Mountain Top RV Park is part of the state forestry program. Therefore the only firewood that is allowed to be burned at the park is firewood that is purchased on site. This is to prevent the spread of insect infestations.
- Fireworks are prohibited.
- Guns of any type are prohibited.
- Alcohol is prohibited in the common areas. Alcoholic beverages are to remain on your designated site.
- Drug use of any type is not permitted.
Deposit
- Check-in is at 3:00pm and Check out time is by 11:00am. Checkouts after 11:00am will result in another day’s charge.
- There are no refunds for early departures.
- All site decorations are subject to management review and approval. Our feelings on site decor are “less is more”. We want all to be able to primarily enjoy the beauty of our natural surroundings.
- Please be mindful there is an additional charge to have visitors to the park, and management needs to be notified when visitors will arriving.
- Absolutely NO waste water, grey or otherwise, is to be dumped on the ground. This is in accordance with New Jersey State Law. A dump station is available for you free of charge or we offer a honey wagon service.
- Feeding wildlife is prohibited.
- Bird Feeders are not permitted as they may attract other wildlife.
- We hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action which are in any way connected with our participation in any activity, or our use of their equipment or facilities, arising from negligence. This release does not apply to claims arising from intentional conduct. Should Releasees or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this agreement, we agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs.
- In consideration of participating in campground activities, and for other good and valuable consideration, we hereby agree to release and discharge from liability arising from negligence Mountain Top RV Park and its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, participants and all other persons or entities acting for them (herein collectively referred to as ""Releasees""), on behalf of myself and my children, parents, heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate and also agree as follows:
General
- Individuals using profane language, being intoxicated, acting in such a manner that they may be injurious or annoying to others (in the opinion of management) will be asked to leave the park.
- Please keep your site area clean, safe and in tasteful condition.
- Your site area should be kept in a clean, safe and tasteful condition.
- There should be no screwing/nailing of anything into any trees - this will kill the tree.
- Each site is allowed to display up to 1 (one) flag American flag, in good condition.
- Only one registered RV per site. No RVs are allowed on cabin sites or tent sites.
- Subletting of your site is not allowed.
- There are no tents allowed on Cabin or RV sites.
- Proper attire - shirt and pants - are required on all sites if you are outside of your RV. The only exception to this is if you are within the pool enclosure.
- Only park in your designated site.
- Motorcycles and motorized adult scooters may be used as transportation directly to and from your site to River Rd. They may not be used for your pleasure throughout the RV park.
- Dumpsters are located at the rear of the clubhouse building.
- No large items such as televisions, patio furniture, satellite dishes, appliances etc. should be disposed of in the dumpster.
- We highly encourage recycling what you can. Recycled items must be put in the recycle container loose - not in a bag.
- There is NO LIFEGUARD at the pool. Swim at your own risk.
- Children under the age of 14 must always be accompanied by an adult at the pool.
- No food or glass containers are allowed in the pool area.
- No glass bottles are allowed in common areas.
- There is no cutting or disfiguring of trees allowed.
- Vandalism or other unseemly or rowdy behavior shall not be permitted.
- Skateboards are prohibited.
- Boats/ Trailers/ outdoor refrigerators/ freezers etc are not permitted on your site unless you have written approval from management.
- Please do not walk through other sites. Use the roads and trails provided and refer to the RV park map for the location of the common areas.
- Please respect your neighbors and their belongings.
- Clotheslines are not permitted.
- Drone usage is prohibited on the property.
- Proper attire - shirt and pants - is expected at all times outside of your RV, unless you are within the pool enclosure.
- Climbing on the face of the mountain is prohibited.
- The Lessee agrees that the space will not be used as their domicile or residence of any period during the term of this agreement.
- We expressly accept and assume all of the risks inherent in any activity or that might have been caused by the negligence of the Releasees. Our participation in any activity is purely voluntary and we elect to participate despite the risks. In addition, if at any time we believe that event conditions are unsafe or that we are unable to participate due to physical or medical conditions, then we will discontinue participation ASAP.
- In the event that we file a lawsuit we agree to do it solely in the state where Releasees LLC is located, and we further agree that the substantive law of that state shall apply.
- I hereby consent to photographs and videos taken of me and all in my party during our stay at Mountain Top RV Park to be used for event documentation and promotion of the park. Names will not be published.
- By completing this booking I/We acknowledge having had sufficient time to read this entire document and should we choose to do so, consult with legal counsel.
- The following details are meant to enhance everyone’s experience while visiting our campground. Failure to follow these guidelines may force us into a position of having to ask you to terminate your stay earlier than you had planned.
Check-in
- All guests must check-in with the office upon arrival.
Pets
- All lawn furniture, grill set ups, pet fencing etc is also subject to management review and approval.
- All pets must be approved prior to arrival.
- No more than 2 pets are allowed per site.
- Certain dog breeds are not allowed.
- All animals must be current with state required vaccinations and provide proof of such to management if requested.
- All animals must remain on a hand held leash if outside your RV.
- No excessive barking dogs will be allowed.
- Please clean up after your pet and dispose of all waste appropriately.
- No pet should be left unattended, even on your own campsite.
- Pets are not to be bathed in the public restrooms or showers.
- Pets are not allowed in or at the pool area.
- Pets are not allowed in the cabins.
- Pets are not allowed in the Office, Game Room, Laundry Room or bathroom/ shower facilities.
- Owners are legally responsible for their pets and any injuries or damage caused by them.
- Do not leave trash, trash bags or food on your site as this will attract wild animals and become an unsafe situation. Please dispose of these items properly.
- I/We acknowledge camping at Mountain Top RV Park and participating in campground activities including but not limited to CAMPFIRES, HIKING, PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, DOG PLAY AREA, PARK TRAILS, RV SITE ROADS, PLANNED EVENTS, DOGS, SHOWERS, SPEED OR ROAD BUMPS, BICYCLE OR MOTORCYCLE USE, GOLF CARTS, ELECTRIC SCOOTERS AND ENCOUNTERS WITH WILDLIFE involves known and unanticipated risks which could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis or permanent disability, death and property damage. Risks include, but are not limited to, broken bones, torn ligaments or other injuries as a result of falls burns from campfires drowning in pools or other bodies of water falls from play equipment or caused by uneven surfaces medical conditions resulting from physical activity and damaged clothing or other property. We understand such risks simply cannot be eliminated, despite the use of safety equipment, without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity and particularly in a mountain wilderness environment.
- We agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and in effect. This is a complete waiver of release liability to this establishment and its owners. I hereby acknowledge that Mountain Top RV Park is not responsible for any theft, loss or damage including loss of animals/pets or injuries to pets or children incurred during my stay.
- I hereby acknowledge that children and pets are under supervision of a responsible adult at all times. I hereby agree to abide by all rules, policies and guidelines at Mountain Top RV Park. I also understand that I can be asked to leave the property without refund for failure to follow said rules and policies - a copy of which is posted at Mountain Top RV Park and on their website.
- I confirm that I have a valid rabies certificate for any pets in my party and can provide a copy of such if necessary.
- By completing this booking I/We agree to all the policies, rules, guidelines and waiver of liability herein. I and my party members of my group or visitors or family members also agree to this waiver. I/We attest to release and forever hold harmless the Mountain Top RV Park and its owners and employees from any financial responsibility due to accidents, injuries or damage to myself, members in my group, visitors, children, pets or damage to my personal property or RV, vehicles or animals.
Parking
- The speed limit within the park is 5 mph. This speed limit is strictly enforced to ensure the safety of all. It is your responsibility to inform any visitors you may have of this speed limit.
- There is a limit of two vehicles allowed per site.
- If you have guests visiting that will exceed two vehicles at your designated site, they may park in the parking lot by the clubhouse.
- Please flatten cardboard boxes.
- All terrain vehicles are prohibited.
- Mountain Top RV Park is not responsible for articles lost, stolen, or damaged or for damage that may occur to your RV, vehicles etc.
- We represent that we have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage we may suffer or cause while participating in any activity, or else we agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage. We further represent that we have no medical or physical condition which could interfere with our safety in any activity, or else we are willing to assume and bear the costs of all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition. Additionally we agree to carry our own liability and comprehensive insurance to protect ourselves from theft, pilferage, vandalism, fire, water damage, wind, snow, hail etc. As Lessee's of the space, we are responsible for loss of any kind and it is understood that Lessee releases Releasees from any and all liability.
Noise
- Pool Hours are 1pm - 5pm Saturday and Sunday, or by pre approved appointment, if the owners/caretakers are on site and the pool is open.
- Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM. This helps to allow all to have a relaxing evening and peaceful morning.
- Outside of Quiet hours, please continue to be mindful of your noise level so as to be respectful of your fellow guests.
- The hiking trail is for daylight hours only.
Guests
- Please be respectful of other guests who are also using the pool or pool area.
Smoking
- There is no smoking of any kind allowed in common areas. There is a designated smoking area near the bath house or you may smoke at your own campsite.
- Smoking is only allowed at your own site or at the designated smoking area. Smoking is not allowed in cabins. No smoking in common areas.
