Riana - Abiquiu Lake

Beautiful scenery. Not a lot to do but relax. Opportunity for kayaking , etc

Beautiful park! Sites were large and fairly level. The hosts were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We did a little hiking through the park but mostly we explored the area around the park. The host gave us a helpful brochure that listed many other We stayed at Riana in a 38' motorhome.

What a beautiful RV park! I forget our lot number, but it was looking west and north over the lake. We could only see 1 neighboring vehicle, no people. It was so quiet, it felt like I'd gone deaf! And the park host was very helpful & glad to see us. We'd go back in a minute

The view of Cerro Pedernal is amazing.

Was only here for 1 night stay as were were passing through on our way home... First of all, the lady working the check in station at the entrance LOVES her job and is hands down the most friendliest, enthusiastic, person I've ever encountered at ANY campground! Great views of the lake. Only downside is most of the sites (we drove around looking at all of them for future reference) are not level. Everything else was good about this campground and we will stop again for sure.

The campground helper people in site 8 were friendly & helpful! I interacted with both the man & woman, & they were both stellar! Site was clean & quite, even on the weekend. Restroom / shower room was clean.

Camp host was excellent! We were not going to get in until close to lights out, the camp host checked in with us to make sure we were ok and give us options on if we were too late.
The site we had (which was the only site remaining) had said it may not fit our rig, we were able to get a 36 ft fifth wheel in easily! As well as park our truck out of the flow of the road.
We loved our site, the view of the late was amazing! Our space was very clean as well as the camp grounds we walked through. Thank you #NMCamping!

We enjoyed our visit and found everything to be in order.

The campground is clean with nice campsites. Very nice campground hosts. Decent cell service with ATT.

The only negative is the bathroom in the Pedernal Loop. The water only gets warm, the 2 showers share the same dressing area, so you don't have a private area to undress, and it is somewhat dark. There is also no electrical outlet if you need to use a hairdryer, etc.
