Site host was very friendly and helpful. Our tent site had several flat spots for tents, some with a little gravel. The site had a picnic table under a shelter, was very close to potable water, and was a short walk from the restrooms. The view of the lake was quite nice, and the sunset was beautiful. The only issue we had (and obviously they had no control over this) was very strong winds. I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and beautiful campground. We stayed a week and traveled to Santa Fe and several National Parks. We were in a site with water and electric. Had to use blue boy during the week so I could do my wash. Sad the lake is so low, but we still were able to kayak and see the high cliffs along the lake edge.
Would stay again.

The views from this campground are glorious! It is beautiful...however...there are goathead thorns everywhere (if you don't know what these are, they are small multi-headed thorns that stick and stay) that will torture your pets and get between their paw pads. We would not come back with our pets again because of these thorns. If you have pets, we recommend you make sure they never go outside with out heavy duty booties on their feet. These thorns also stick in your shoes and we are still finding them in our truck and camper. OUCH!
