Absolutely gorgeous and refreshing.
This was, without a doubt, one of my top experiences in the last few years.
The area was serene and the views fantastic.
The park attendants and park rangers were so friendly, genuine & helpful.
The amenities were well maintained and clean.
I plan to make this an annual stop.
Thanks

It is such a gorgeous spot with the awesome lake and the colorful mountains around Ghost Ranch. The majority of sites near the lake have no water or electric, so don’t be surprised if someone runs a generator. For our second night we moved over the hill to site 31, which is in an area that has smaller sites and is much less likely to have a big rig with a generator. Regardless, I would go back because it is so beautiful there. Be sure to try the Frosty Cow ice cream and paninis right on the highway in Abiquiu. Those a very friendly people.

The view of the sunset from our campground, as the light faded in the hills across the lake, was magical. Unfortunately, the toxic algae made using the like unwise.

This was a fantastic experience for my husband and I. Not only are the facilities wonderful but the camp hosts are phenomenal, always there to answer questions and help us with problems that come up. Our only negative is that many of the sites are not as level as they might be.
