View of lake is beautiful!! Need a bike or car to ride to access lake (boat ramp) or you can walk to another divet for fishing. Wished the campground was closer to the boat ramp for access to swimming. Quiet at night. Not many hiking trails (I think there is just one). Not close to any town, so may sure you have all you need with you. Otherwise, safe environment. Friendly staff and campers. They accept pets.

Terrific campsite with great amenities (clean bathrooms, showers, bbq and fire rings at each spot), surprisingly quiet even with close proximity of the walk-up spaces on a full holiday weekend, and an excellent place to stay to enjoy Abiquiu Lake.
Only downside was having very little shade which made for some hot afternoons...but that’s what the lake is for.

Amazingly well kept (and rare) US Army Corps of Engineers run campground! Bathrooms (i.e. pit toilets) were immaculate and always stocked with TP. While the shower facility was VERY nice to have, it's quite small (two stalls in the male shower room) and the drainage for these showers needs improvement (the floor outside the showers was always "flooded" and gross due to dust and dirt). I'd definitely take this, though, over no shower facility :)

I love Abiquiu Lake. I feel very comfortable and at ease there. It’s a efficient and clean campground. Also it’s close to where I live

The campground was well maintained in a very picturesque area. Our spot was pretty big and set up in a way that you couldn’t see your neighbor. It felt as if we were in a secluded area. We had a great time! Thank you US Corp of Engineers for such a great experience

Camp hosts were delightful, camp was clean, views amazing. Spring winds destroyed my tent but it was still a worthy weekend!
