Close to Santa Fe and some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. Easy to see why Georgia O’Keeffe chose to live near here. Park hosts were friendly and very accommodating. The visitors center at the dam was nearby and interesting.

Wonderful staff! Loved the personal touch from Cindy. She helped us welcome family for a brief visit as they were passing through. And the sky and views are amazing! Best sunset ever! Clean facilities, and well-cared for area. Like-new playground for kids. Also, good location for excursions - Echo Canyon a must see, and Abiquiu Dam & Recreation area for river fun. Highly recommend!

Really nice campground with clean bathrooms and good amenities like a shower and trash. A good spot for a quick night away. The camp host was extremely helpful and kind. Beautiful views and gorgeous starry skies. We will be back!

The hosts were excellent! We will probably pass through there again if we can get a reservation.
Only real disappointment is that nothing I saw on the reservation sight tells that the water for the lake is so extremely low. The regular swimming areas are inaccessible as the water is so low. Our grandson was with us and was wanting to play in the water. The fishing was a bit of a climb down to the water as well. But again, the hosts were fantastic!

Al and Cindy were the best camp hosts ever. So attentive and caring and helpful. The property is beautiful, no - it’s stunning. We had a bit of weather, which is to be expected in July, but it was still an amazing experience. I can’t wait to go back.

Nice campground. The only negative is many of the sites require extensive leveling and even without sewer this is a great campground.
