Florez Riverview Campground

I was so disappointed that this place is mis-advertised: "The facility provides essential amenities including modern toilet facilities, hot showers.." There are 2 porta-potties, NO wash stations, NO showers. The RV sites do NOT have potable water....its river water. I paid for 2 full rv sites and 3 tent sites for numerous days, and the tent people left upon finding no showers or bathrooms, yet the owner (nice guy) did not acknowledge my complaint about having lost money on this reservation. The ONLY thing this campground has is a view of the river. You can't fish here either....The bank of the river is not stable. So they need to remove that from their advertising as well.

We felt this was an excellent campground. The campground owners are steadily making additional improvements. Prices are good here. The toilets are port a johns but very clean and with toilet paper. As tent campers we happy to see there was a pavilion here as a good size rainstorm rolled through in the early evening. Campfires are allowed by advance notice in selected spots. Full hookups are available. It was early season when we visited here so there was only about two other sites occupied. The San Juan river flows past here so please note this campground is quite sandy. We visited May 2025.

We just celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday this weekend. 6/15, plus camped. This has to be our favorite place. Robert and his wife treat us like family every time we go there. We camp there 2 to 3 times during the summer. It’s a beautiful place to hold big parties. We had close to 100 people there and everyone I spoke to loved it there. Some didn’t know that it existed, they loved it. They said it was a beautiful place to hold event and go camping. I would definitely recommend Florez Riverview RV Park & Campground.

Absolutely loved this place! We had the whole campground to ourselves. The roads a little rocky but once you cet to the park it flattens out. The river was flowing and such a cool backdrop to a rustic and quaint spot. No water hookups but there was electric with water by the pavilion. Would absolutely stay here again.
