***We stayed in a cabin***

If you pay the extra to "guarantee" your cabin number, don't count on actually getting the cabin you paid for. We were told, "oh sorry, the previous guest extended their stay. There is nothing we can do".

If you need help after being reasonably upset, expect attitude from every employee after.

If you expect the AC in your cabin to work, you will be mistaken. It might work at 2 on the morning. Not in the middle of the day when you REALLY need it.

It wasn't all bad. The pool was beautiful. The kids loved it. The bathrooms/shower are clean.

We had to make last minute accomodations, and Sierra was amazing!
We were able to make a last minute change to our site due to the size of our RV...No problem! The pet area was amazing as well and very well maintained.

Great location for us to explore Chaco canyon. Fish the San Juan river. Explore Aztec ruins and salmon ruins. The staff and management are super nice. And everything.. bathroom Laundry, game area and pool are exceptionally clean.

Stayed here just one night but it was overall a great experience. First the service was friendly and efficient. They were ready with our reservations upon our arrival. We stayed in cabin 1 which had a full bed and 2 twins in bunk bed style.

The community restrooms (maybe a minute walk from cabin 1) were clean and well taken care of, grounds as well. It looks like they are investing and improving the campsite. The pool wasn’t quite open yet 5/21/26.

Cabin 1 was simple and for a night or as just a sleeping quarters it worked well. Would be tight accommodations for a longer stay. Had air conditioning and mini fridge, but no linens (which is clearly listed as so on their site). Cabin 1 & 2 are next to the main road so you do get some road noise. I also didn’t expect it to be a concern in late May but there was no heat option. That night was in the mid 40s and got quite chilly in the room. It was too late before I realized, so maybe they have a heat option if I had asked ahead of time. There is 1 spare outlet up by the fridge for your use.

This park was fantastic about getting us a camp spot after our truck broke down on highway 550 towing our 5th wheel. They moved other reservations around to accommodate us until we were able to get the truck fixed and didn't charge us for the 2 extra nights! Truly superior customer service!!! Super friendly folks, beautifully maintained campgrounds, and FHU sites. Lots of long term sites, but everything was clean. We will stay here again if passing thru the area!!
