We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location for exploring White Sands, Ruidoso, etc. Everything was clean, quiet at night.

This is a favorite spot, so beautiful! Even though we are in a trailer it still feels like unplugging-so nice. The park is taken care of & easy to get in & out. Can’t wait for the next time

Great time and place! Sunsets are amazing over the Valley of Fires! Grandkids loved the hikes in the mornings and evenings seeing lizards and horned toads! Hot during the day time in June so plan some other indoor activities or some excursions to the mountains close by!

Well situated and expertly maintained campground. The scenery and the short trail along the lava flows are uniquely dramatic. Nearby historic Lincoln village and Ft. Stanton are worthy attractions to history lovers. Steve, the camp host, iOS a great source of information about the region. He also keeps the campground and showers clean and inviting.

Stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed. Sites could be a bit more level, though. Good Verizon cell service, great views, nice trails, stunning night sky, good bathrooms and showers. We will continue to return when passing through this area.

Always clean bathrooms! They were stocked and cleaned every day, well before we were up, and maintained all day long. This is exactly what I want out of a campground. Thank you.
