The camp host is great.
But there need to be regulations to ban drones, generators, bright lights on all night and longer quiet hours. Why not making this campground just for tents? People are not aware of what camping really is....HELP!!!!

Beautiful campground, lots of close trails, camp host Joe was very welcoming & knowledgeable about the area, other guests were all very friendly and polite. Can't wait to come back!

The group campsite is awesome. But it is designed for tent camping so big RVs will just have to park on the drive.

We enjoyed our stay, enjoyed visiting with the host and most of all enjoyed the cool, green forest. The campground is clean and well laid out. The only issue we had was during the last night we were there when the group camping in the group area stayed up late drinking, yelling and playing loud music.

Gorgeous campground! Joe is a phenomenal host. He works so hard to keep the campgrounds nice, clean, and safe. He even told my girls the story of Smokey Bear and gave them a few goodies. The creek running through the grounds is lovely and soothing. We stayed at site 007 in a tent and we all had a perfect time. I love that it is a small campground, super close to Rio Rancho and ABQ (about an hour and 20 min drive for us). Seriously, how have we never stayed here before?? We will definitely be back!

Clear Creek Campground is accessible via New Mexico State Highway 126, which is approximately 11 miles east of Cuba, New Mexico.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
