Wow, what a gem of a campground! So glad to have camped here vs the neighboring District to the SE. The host was most hospitable and a hard worker. His pride showed in his continual monitoring of the restrooms, trash containers and general well being of the campers. When I pulled into my campsite it was spotless, not a shred of paper or trash anywhere. The restrooms were clean and stocked. The staff from the Cuba district came by twice a day to check on the CG and pick up trash. I felt safe and just plain happy. My site was spacious for my trailer with part sun and part shade, just the right amount. The wildflowers were in bloom and their fragrance permeated the air as you walked by. What a delight. I will return. Thank you Cuba District Staff for all that you do.

This was our favorite campground on our two week camping trip. The camp host, Joe, was so nice, helpful, and knowledgable about the area. The vault toilet bathrooms were immaculate and smelled great. There are nice walking trails by the campground as well. We had only good things to say about this campground. Look carefully at the pictures, because we had to pitch our tent on a slope, but it looks like we just chose the wrong campsite.

Beautiful campground, decent spacing between spots with hiking trails nearby. Quiet and peaceful. Perfect place for tent camping. You can hear lots of wildlife in the wee hours of the morning. Host was very friendly.
