Stayed at campsite near creek and it was so peaceful and beautiful. The bathrooms were really clean and well stocked. The chipmunks were a cute bonus. Went hiking in San Pedro wilderness on the San Gregorio Lake trail near campsite and it was easy and beautiful. The lake is beautiful. Watch out for big bull cows though haha. It was super relaxing and quiet at the campsite. I would not recommend the road through Jemez to get to this site though. Go through Cuba or you risk getting stuck. Wish they would pave that road for easier access to Jemez and all the sites and things to do there. Cuba is not very far from this site so it was an easy drive for things like more ice for our coolers.

This is a great place for families and Seniors. It is quite and clean and has lots of nature to explore. There is drinking water and volt toilets. Tents and small trailers work well in this area. No cell reception at these sites so it is a great place to unplug.
