This is a beautiful campground just minutes away from the Valle Caldera and many hikes. The campground has vault toilets but features water. We were unable to find any trash receptacles at the campground so plan to haul your trash out from the campground.

Overall the campground was very nice and we would definitely return, but with that in mind there are a few things to note. Site 45 was a bit of a mixed bag for a location, we were in the quiet loop and it was mostly quiet, I felt that we were far enough away from a lot of the other loops and not stuffed in so much that it made a big difference. But the host didn't enforce a lot of rules such as no generators in our loop and the limit to the number of people allowed at each campsite which meant that we heard a loud generator all night long and a single site in our loop had 20+ people in it with 5 cars. I think if the host had enforced the rules this would have been a much better experience. The other negative about site 45 is that we were right next to the bathrooms and wind went just right it smelled awful. We didn't smell it most of the time, but occasionally it would be really bad. I would choose to stay again at this campground, but maybe not this exact site.

From Alburquerque: Take Interstate 25 north for 12 miles; exit onto NM State Highway 550 northwest for approximately 20 miles then exit onto NM Highway 4. The campground is accessed off NM Highway 4, approximately 15 miles northeast of Jemez Springs.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
