Jemez is a great spot for kids. There is campfire iron bars that help for cooking. This area is close to some springs and close enough to go on a trip to some hot springs, just ask the campsite attendants.

This is my ABSOLUTE favorite campground, there is so much to do! Endless hiking . . Water to cool off in . . Nice and quiet. The hike to McCullough falls is gorgeous, but be ready for a tough hike back! But it's only tough for a little bit, and completely worth it! The falls on the other side of the freeway is also gorgeous. . .we really are in the LAND of ENCHANTMENT

It is a nice campground with lots of room. We were NOT bothered by people running generators at all times of the day and night. That is my LEAST favorite thing about using forest service campgrounds. I wish that all campgrounds had a section that was free of those **#%! noisy generators.

Beautiful and spacious. The campground was pretty empty when we visited so the quiet and solitude was especially nice. Well kept pit toilets. We will be back to do some more of the near by hiking.

The space is beautiful, well maintained and inviting. I enjoyed the hikes to the falls. Camp site host was also very helpful. The down side was the site was noisy with kids and pets, so I did not enjoy it as much.

Very nice campground. Only complaint is that our site was a little close to our neighbors. Overall beautiful area, clean campground .
