Good place for July 4th getting away from fireworks. And driveable to Jemez springs for their parade

Timothy, campground host most knowledgeable in our many years camping on the Santa Fe. Obviously very conscience about campground and facility conditions. Nice guy, too.

Cute campsite! We felt like spacing between sites were generous, quiet during day and night, and overall cleaned/maintained. The road between sites are nicely paved and the campsite kids enjoyed riding bikes around (not a disturbance whatsoever, it created a fun sense of community). Pet friendly as well. Only downside is high amount of flying insects around, but that is nature! Only one hour drive from Albuquerque. Temperatures reached high 80s during the day and low 60s at night (middle July).

While we were there the campground was virtually empty so it was wonderfully quite. We had spotty Wi-Fi. The campground and bathrooms were clean. The only problem was peaky flies and bees.
