Very clean and comfortable. It would be paradise if they banned generators but I know that’s not going to happen.

We like this campground. It is very clean and quiet. This is primitive camping only, no water or electric. Does have vault toilets that are well maintained. There is a no generator section and 9:00pm to 7:00am quiet hours. Most people respect this. The camp host does enforce this policy and thank you for doing so. The surrounding area does have manitained roads and easy to go explore and do some hiking.

We parked oin site 30. Virginia's Warblers, Wilson's Warblers,Lewis's Woodpeckers, and William's Sapsuckers frequented the site. No generaters are allowed at the site, but we had solar panels which were adequate to use our microwave.

Bathrooms were clean but reeked so bad even masking didn't work. Then there were the bees. There was a hive not 2 ft from the table, in the retaining wall. When we told the host, he was quite nonchalant about it, yea, "we sprayed them but they keep coming back". It seems that the forest service while telling us to be bear aware did not think that a swarm of bees were dangerous too. My daughter was stung and a week later it is still swollen and is on steroids for just 1 sting. Imagine if it were more. Campground it's self is beautiful but don't think we will return. It is better suited to RV campers. Our 'tent pad' was to small and to close to the table. Ended up putting one tent on the asphalt. No way it could hold 5 people, especially since we had 2 tents.
