I recommend. The campsite was a little far away from the parking, so having a cart is helpful. Also, the West sun comes in in the evening, so I'm glad we had a canopy. The view is really nice and overall pretty quiet. That toilets were clean and the hosts were great. I enjoyed being right my the river. We hiked to the San Antonio Hot springs from the camp. The sites aren't huge, but we had the space we needed (8 person tent).

This is one of our favorite campgrounds in the Jemez Mountains. We booked site #5 far in advance, which was necessary since it's an electric site that is much in demand. Hosts were available, friendly and helpful - the problem we encountered was not their fault. That problem was that there was no water available at the time. Now, I fully understand if a campground is still undergoing water testing and they are just not able to provide water yet, but there should have been advance notice of this. I called the ranger district office the day before check-in and they informed me that water "should be available." Unfortunately, it was not and we did not receive an alert email about it until the day AFTER we checked in. Campground is great! Communication between district management and Recreation.gov users...not so good. Sites here are of ample size (we had a 34' RV) and well cared for. Campground is quiet, pet-friendly, and there's a great walk along and down to San Antonio Creek. We'll stay here again...and make sure to bring water.

Reserved site #21 because the description said it was a pull-through and over 50' long. The site is actually a back-up site. The road accessing the site is narrow and lined with boulders. I could not get my fifth wheel into the site. The camp host was friendly but there was nothing he could do. All the sites were reserved.

Absolutely beautiful c-ground with very generous spaces. However, we paid for 4 days of electricity and water. Without any notice, they shutoff the water all day Saturday and Sunday.
This is unacceptable!

Nice quiet location, close to the highway. But still a good spot for a relaxing camping trip.

The only reason I couldn't give this a 5 star rating is that the water was not working at our site and there was no camphost or staff to talk to. The campground is beautiful with great walking paths. The restrooms were clean. Not having cell service was a surprise but it made for a better outdoor experience. The dogs loved it too.

Nice campground with paved sites. When you enter the campground you are going the wrong direction for site 1 & 2 pull throughs. We wasn’t aware the loop went all the way around so just backed into site 1. Driving the loop in the car appeared would have been tight turns in our class A. The 50amp continuously blew so we changed to 30amp and just ran one air conditioner. By watching how we used appliances 30 amp was fine. The water hookup had a leak on the campsite side so was wasting water when it was turned on. Site for a camp host but didn’t have one while we was there. Verizon cell service was nonexistent.
A nice quiet campground. Once again sites showing reserved online had no one in them for days.
