Great campground, quiet and clean. Really appreciated the food storage lockers and comfortable bathrooms with water, lights, and electric outlet. Dishwashing sink was great. Shuttle from campground to visitor center was very convenient. Park staff clearly make extra efforts to care for their campground.

I reserved site #41. A pull through site thinking it would be level. It was not and had a pretty sharp right turn around a tree. I have a 20 ft trailer and struggled to get it level. I don't think a bigger trailer would fit in this site.

No shade & can walk dogs only in campground, not surrounding trails.

We stayed on the A loop. It was nice and quiet. The area with the fire pit was large and had a nice picnic table. The location was great. We were able to quickly get to the monument, Valles caldera and were close to Los Alamos so we went out for dinner one night.
The only thing is that the bathrooms could be a little cleaner. I don't think the sink in the ladies room had been scrubbed in awhile. Other than that, no complaints. We loved our time there.

B -loop traffic flow should be reversed. The camping spots are at an angle that you can't back in a trailer. A-loop was fine. Also website was difficult to do a cancelation so I just gave up.

Had a great nice at this park in Bandelier National Monument. I only had a chance to do a short hikes with my dog along the camping loops. All the sites looked attractive with fire pits, picnic tables and nice sized lots. The hiking trails looked very nice and it's cools that its so close to Los Alamos National Labs, with some lab tech sites sprinkled along the road to the monument. Bring bear spray are the a signs of active bears posted near the campground.
