This was a beautiful campground, and the restroom facilities were very clean. It was nice to have flush toilets in a campground like this. The only negative was that when we booked the site, we entered our trailer length and the site we booked said that our trailer would fit. When we got there it wouldn’t. Most of the sites are very short and hard to back into. We knew this, but the search revealed our trailer would fit. We tried to switch to another site but there was no internet service, and the camp hosts had a sign out that said they were unavailable. We lost our money on the first site, drove into town 20 minutes to get service, and reserved another site that we could fit into. We lost a lot of time having to do this and tried to see the camp host the next day, and they were still unavailable. They were unavailable for our entire stay of 3 days. If we are to depend on the internet, there should at least be Wi-Fi in a centralized location such as the gate in order to reserve a site.

This campsite was fairly private, spacious and amazing views. We wished we had planned to stay longer. Clean bathroom and well kept campground. We can’t wait to come back.

The campground is in a great location, with reasonable access to many trails and to the town of Los Alamos. The bathroom had flush toilets and running water, a bit of a luxury for us. Our sites were clean and easily accommodated four tents. We had a potable water spigot between our two sites - perfect.

Great campground. I stayed in site C40 (Coyote Loop) which was a short walk to the water spigot and a little further to the bathroom. There's a short trail right next to this site that leads to the amphitheater and some hiking trails. The bathroom lights are really bright at night so I'm glad this site was not right next to it. Firewood is available for $1 per log at the campground entrance (cash only).
