Campground sites are close to each other and not all are level. But the campground is beautiful and quiet, with a handy dishwashing station and spigot.

Kind rangers and staff. The site was very clean and they had nice restrooms.

We often stay at the campground and have several favorite sites. Bathrooms are always clean and well lit at night. Kitchen room has hot water for dish cleanup. Camp host is helpful and friendly. Back country hiking through mesa tops and canyons is amazing though not recommended in hot weather. Nice hike into Frijoles canyon to see cave dwellings and pictographs from the campground.
