Kind rangers and staff. The site was very clean and they had nice restrooms.

We often stay at the campground and have several favorite sites. Bathrooms are always clean and well lit at night. Kitchen room has hot water for dish cleanup. Camp host is helpful and friendly. Back country hiking through mesa tops and canyons is amazing though not recommended in hot weather. Nice hike into Frijoles canyon to see cave dwellings and pictographs from the campground.

Juniper Campground is located on the plateau above Frijoles Canyon, and as a result has great views and yet is still close to the ruins. The campground was clean and well maintained when we visited in March. Towering Ponderosa Pines are scattered throughout the campground, so the daily breeze provided a nice calming white noise, while the trees provided nice shady areas.

Great campground with decent bathrooms. My site had a little privacy with some Juniper trees, but some sites were completely out in the open. A tiny bit of cell service with Verizon depending on where I was standing.
