Beautiful facilities, very clean, very polite campers. Just a few of the campsites have tall trees, so definitely bring shade if you're camping in the summertime.

Bandelier never disappoints. It's been a few years since we've camped at Juniper. Beautiful, clean, and quiet, though the sites are pretty close to each other, making privacy hard to come by at camp. The firewood is advertised as $1.00 per "stick". Be assured that they are full size split logs and they have a relatively long burn time. Definitely worth a buck.
Be sure to check out the Tyuonyi Overlook Trail. It's a mostly flat and easy 2.2 mi round trip hike with an amazing reward at the end.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Bandelier National Monument and Juniper Campground (Coyote Loop). Bathrooms were clean, sites/fire rings were in good condition (considering the recent heavy rain), decent spacing between sites, good water access, etc. We most certainly will return in the not too distant future. Great access to Tyuonyi and Frey Trails, too.
The only advice I can offer for sites in any of the campground loops is to pay close attention to the size restrictions at each specific site. We have a 17’ trailer and a couple of the sites we thought would work for us turned out the opposite.

We had a great stay here. It was perfect for our young family. Bathrooms were convenient and clean. The proximity to Bandelier National Monument and trails was great. We even had an accident and needed medical attention and the camp hosts were very helpful and directed us to the closets ER. We had a great stay and will be back.
