Great campground. Well organized, private sites. Despite a gov shutdown, patrolled by Park Ranger. Everyone very friendly. Loved this place!!!!

Though I was disappointed that Bandelier was closed, Betty, my camp host, was very helpful in planning camping site, hikes, and attractions. She really made a difference.

Nice campground up above the canyon — take a hike on the Overlook Trail.

The Coyote loop for RVs was very nice. Although there were many campers we had enough space for some privacy. Water and dump station were close by. A few hiking trails right from the campground.

We made the best of our stay during the shut-down. Though the visitor center & Frijoles Canyon trails were closed, camping at Juniper is as great as it always is. And the campground host woman couldn't be friendlier.
