Inspiring. There was an issue when a camper thought they had reserved the spot i was in by leaving personal stuff ath site. Someone took it. Juniper if FF. Here are cards at each site indicating if it open or occupied. The protocol is find aan open site . Se up if you can. At minimum, flip the card to occupied, go pay for it at the kiosk, and return immediately. Don’t expect to leave personal stuff alone to hold the site.

Campsites well developed. While seemingly close to each other, the change in level, terrain, & surrounding trees made it feel more private. Bathrooms were very good. Appreciate having services such as the dump station & community water access. Great to be so close to Bandelier & surrounding trails.

sweet, quiet, beautiful campground. HIkes right from the campground! Hike all downhill on the Frey trail to the visitor center, then take the free shuttle back to the campground!

We have a F350 with a slide-in camper and we chose #20. I should have done more research, but it was definitely too small for us. The online pictures looked like it would be fine, but after we booked it, it did say it was hard to get your vehicle level. We wouldn't even fit in the parking space. We moved to a 1st come 1st serve spot in the next campground over and it was perfect. Thank you for the Park Service for helping me with that!!! It is a very nice campground however. Clean bathrooms with even spaces to wash your dishes if you are tent camping. I would definitely go hear again!! I did learn my lesson, hopefully before booking a site.
