Juniper Campground was a very quiet campground, which we appreciate. We were in the Black Bear Loop #28 and it was very peaceful. We had a wonderful view behind us. We liked that only smaller RVs could get into the sites. Our site had plenty of trees so had a nice amount of shade. It was a good sized site with the picnic table and campfire grate set up nicely a nice distance from the RV. Site 28 is very close to Site 29, something you cannot tell from pictures. And site 29 is very close to #30. Thankfully, the campers we had next to us were quiet.

We enjoyed a great view of both the lake and the mountains. Sites very clean. Restrooms and shower house were pretty good, but I noticed the same trash on the floor for 3 days, although not much. Would stay again.

I had site 44 Coyote for one night. It was pretty level and close to the bathroom. The park and bathrooms were clean. No showers though. I thoroughly enjoyed Bandelier and even went up the ladders at to see the cliff dwelling. The food at the cafe in the park was excellent. And the museum was also excellent. Loved my visit here!

Suite was not level and very hard to level our van. We tried to change sites on rec.gov, but was not able. A ranger at the visitor center was able to help us.
