There was minimal shade on the Black Bear Loop. The bathrooms were very clean, and there was a dishwashing station with hot water.
The visitor center and surrounding trails were very good.

Excellent campground. Clean and well taken care of. Our site was perfect for our pop-up trailer.

Excellent campground with reasonable space between campsites. Only criticisms are that when booking a site it is not straightforward to determine if the site is large enough for our trailer. The RV/Trailer filter that asks for the length of your RV/Trailer only applies to RVs. You must check the more detailed information provided for the site to see if your trailer will fit. The website needs to provide a filter specifically for travel trailers. Also, when booking a first come first serve site that was occupied the previous night you cannot book the site until 11 am. This is inconvenient for the person who wants to renew their campsite reservation. They have to hang around until 11 am to rebook.

Quiet, big enough for two tents to fit comfortably. We had a few deer visitors in the evening.
