Great, quiet campground. Very pretty on the outer coyote loop. Heated bathrooms, a bonus in April! Saw coyotes on the way to camp and many deer on the outskirts of camp in the morning.

Site 41 is great. The Coyote loop was quiet and peaceful in April when I visited. The “Doug with elk” burger is worth it at the park restaurant, get it!

Close to Santa Fe. Beautiful surroundings, good size sites with picnic table and fire pit. Our site was very steep and it was a challenger to lever our camper. Busy traffic was speeding through Coyote Loop each evening. Even a tour bus came sailing through at well above posted speed limits. Clean restrooms and water was available during our stay. Frey trail is approx. a 2 mi hike to the ruins. Once at the ruins there are souvenir shops and a café to fuel up for the return trip.
