Cochiti Campground offers beautiful views, clean facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Many visitors enjoyed activities like tubing on Cochiti Lake and appreciated the cleanliness of the campground and restrooms. However, some noted issues with water access, maintenance of facilities, and occasional lack of supervision from staff. Overall, most campers had positive experiences and expressed a desire to return.

Beautiful site, have stayed there several times. Unfortunately was not able to use the site that I'd reserved this time.
Change of plans and couldn't find a way to cancel.
Cochiti is awesome though.

What an unexpected find! It's a little off the beaten path - about 12 mi off the interstate. Very limited grocery options, so take what you need or be prepared to drive into Albuquerque or Santa Fe. But, we had a great pull through spot at the upper part of the Juniper Loop. Plenty of room and a nice view. No water or sewage at the spots and filling your fresh tank is a kind of weird experience. You MIGHT find a water source near your spot, but it is shared so you can't just hook up and stay hooked. At our spot the nearest water was hundreds of feet away. We just drove around until we found an empty spot with water and pulled in and filled our tank and then went to our site. The lake is pretty nondescript but there were lots of people fishing. Not sure if or what they were catching. Good cell service on AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.
