This is a very short walk in campsite. Very nice tent pad area, lots of shade. Large picnic table and fire ring nearby. Observed Audubon's Warbler, Western Tanager, and Steller's Jay close up. Other campers claimed it to be the best birding in the Taos Area.

Bathrooms are clean and easily available. Sites are neat and picked up, good fire pits and walls in camp sites add to privacy. Good spacing between spots.

The sites at Black Canyon are well maintained, the facilities there are clean, and the area is beautiful. We have enjoyed every visit to Black Canyon that we have made in the past few years and look forward to returning for many more.
The camp hosts are very nice, thoughtful and make the experience all the more enjoyable.
