Black Canyon Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained environment with clean facilities and friendly hosts, making it a favorite among visitors. Many enjoyed the peaceful setting, abundant wildlife, and proximity to Santa Fe, with ample hiking opportunities. However, the lack of water access and some maintenance issues have been noted as drawbacks.

Very nice campsite 7 mi from downtown Santa Fe. Great hiking trail adjacent. Generally very quiet and well laid-out with a good variety of sites for RVs and tent camping.
