Beautiful NF campground (Black Canyon). But no water and an a shared dump station that needs a paved surface!

Many enjoyed the peaceful setting, abundant wildlife, and proximity to Santa Fe, with ample hiking opportunities. However, the lack of water access and some maintenance issues have been noted as drawbacks.

The campground was clean and beautiful. There were natural barriers between each campsite which helped cut down on noise and distractions. Very friendly campers and the trees were awesome.

Very nice campground. Spaces are fairly private. Great access to trails and to Santa Fe - best of both worlds.
