Black Canyon Campground is a beautiful place to camp. It's the starting point to several hikes, including into the canyon, that range from challenging to easy.
The only complaint I might have is the toilets. We stayed in a couple of other camp grounds in Colorado a few weeks before and, somehow, the toilets were fly free and almost odor free. You could smell he toilets at Black Canyon from the campground loop road before going inside and they had plenty of flies in them . Not sure what makes the difference- possibly more people using them?

The campground is beautiful and the host was super accommodating and thoughtful.

I do wish there was access to water, but we were prepared and had a great time!

This is a nice large and mostly flat site. Nice trees for hammock use. The parking spot is rather narrow, so your vehicle does stick out a little, but there is plenty of space for cars and RVs to drive by.
