Site 23 is large and private, with some shade. The campground is very nice and (mostly) quiet. The only negative was the group across the street from us built a large campfire, which was prohibited under the Santa Fe National Forest Stage Two warnings (I think), and the camp hosts didn't do anything about it.

Best government campground I've ever stayed at. Paved parking and nice walls around camp site. Small details mattered and you can tell they put a lot of thought in to this location.

Beautiful scenery with amazing wildlife! It gets cold at night so make sure to pack accordingly! Everyone was very friendly that we ran into. We love New Mexico!
