This place is quiet in the middle of nowhere with the occasional horse or other RV making noise as expected. It's very spacious with the large spots for RVs on gravel and a giant field right next to them. WiFi, power, water works great, except when we had a thunder storm come though and we lost power a couple minutes, which was really cool to watch since the area is so open. The night sky when clear you can see a lot more stars being outside the city. Over all a great place to stay.

The RV Park at HIPICO Santa Fe served its purpose for our four-day stay in Santa Fe. Not far from town, the campground is mainly an equestrian park, with paddocks, arenas, courses, and more. While driving in and out of the park, make sure to respect the riders with their horses as they move through the campground.
For RVers, the park offers full hookup 50 amp back in level gravel sites in a very quiet environment. Besides reliable wifi, there are no other amenities. Dogs are welcomed.
Keep in mind only every other water spicket has heating tape. On seasonal nights that may freeze, make sure the tape is plugged into the shore power so water lines don't freeze (and of course, a heated hose would be needed.) The sewer access is set very high and will create a p-trap in the sewer hose unless it is run along the railroad tie or lifted all the way to the access point.
Other than that, there are some adorable inquisitive barn cats that may hang around and some gorgeous sunrises and sunsets to pleasantly start and end your days.

This RV park is better accessible through Airport Road. As of September 2024 the city has started repaving the road, thankfully. Drive slow, you can’t miss the GIANT HIPICO sign on the right side of the road. No pull-in spots but enough space to maneuver around.

This park is an easy drive into town but far enough to not hear any traffic. It’s peaceful and a well kept park. It had all the hookups for sewer, water, and electricity. New and clean shower trailer. No laundry. Hopefully you get lucky enough to see their horse shows! Great host and would absolutely recommend this park to anyone. I loved my evening/morning walks with my pup around the facility! More wildlife around this area so keep your cats inside!

My husband and I stayed here in our Class C Motorhome while visiting around Santa Fe. The sites are large and level. It was a little difficult to find, so be sure you put in the RV park when navigating. It’s at the back of the property near horse stables. We saw horses out the whole time we were there and they were so beautiful! I also recommend coming in on the first road as the back road is extremely bumpy and not pleasant in an RV. Be mindful that the hookups are at the back, so make sure you have long hoses!

Stayed 3 nights—Towing a 24tt trailer, this RV park was great for us! Easy back in, OK leveling (rocks) it was rainy/slightly flooded grounds when we arrived but the lady that answered the phone was super sweet & allowed us to move to a dryer space. (301) the showers/restrooms are private & very clean!
Great water pressure!!
*shared electricity hook ups (20/30/50amp)
Beautiful horses on site
Gravel road for about a mile upon entrance
Quiet & calm
A lot of wildlife on site during night hours, drive slow & be alert

Overall—we will definitely be back!!
