We stayed at Santa Rosa Campground May 18 and again May 27 with our travels to and from Texas to Arizona. This is a quality campground, and the restaurant has good food. Our schnauzer, Lucy, loved the dog park. In fact, when we drove in on our return trip she perked up and knew where the dog park was. The young lady at the office was kind enough to take me and Lucy, the dog, back to our RV after I had walked to the office, in the golf cart. Good people manage this park.

We love everything about this campground! We've stayed here multiple times as we trek across the country between AZ and TX. The RV spots are roomy and well-maintained. The restrooms are spotless, great water pressure, steamy hot water, well lit and safely private. The dog park is equally as spotless! The staff is friendly and present, a well run campground that has been consistent through the years that we've overnighted here. We'll be back! 5 stars from us!

Great RV Park! We stopped for the night on our way back to AZ from Chicago. I called to check availability & got voicemail, but Chris called me back within minutes. He was friendly & even applied the Good Sam discount without me having to ask. Full hook up, pull through sites & easy to level our motorhome. The sites are big enough so that we did not need to unhook our tow vehicle. The park is very clean, including the dog park, which was a nice surprise. This tells me that the owner has standards & maintains this area as we have found in many other RV parks w/dog parks that some people do not feel the need to pick up their dog’s waste. Another welcome surprise was the onsite BBQ restaurant. Our food supply was getting low as we were getting close to home, so it was lovely to have a delicious meal delivered right to our door. We will definitely stop here again when traveling through this area.
p.s. This is a nice, safe place to stay, so ignore the negative reviews regarding any grumpiness. People need to get over themselves!

My husband and I were traveling to Indiana in our RV, had a mechanical breakdown and managed to get to Santa Rosa RV Park. Cece checked us in and told us about the great restaurant they had. She was sooo right! We ended up being there longer than expected and ate almost everything on the menu. It was all delicious, especially the chicken fried steak! Thank you to Jennifer for the inspirational talks and being a great waitress. Lewis you have great skills in the kitchen, keep up the great work. Park Manager Chris was instrumental in getting us help to fix our RV. He manages the park well and we felt very safe. I can’t say enough good things about the park, Chris and the staff who work there. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing everyone again.

My Husband and I were passing thru on our way to Arizona and found the location to be perfect. We were greeted by Joe and he was great. We had heard that if paying with cash we would get a discount, Joe was not aware of this so we did not get a cash discount. Joe let us know that in order to get our propane tanks filled we would need to wait for Chris, the owner, and that he would be available at 8:00 am the next morning. My Husband went up the next morning where Chris drove by him in his cart and went into building and locked the door. My husband then called him and he did answer. He seemed irritated and put out that we needed propane and said that my husband only had a few minutes to get it filled then said he only took cash, when my husband returned with the cash he noticed Chris stand from chair and looked not well. It turns out that Chris was in some pain due to a medical issue. Later that day I had a brief encounter at the dog park with him and he was friendly enough and stopped and talked to my dogs, we wished each other a good day and went on our ways.
You never know what someone is going thru and sometimes we may not treat others the best but does not make the person a bad person. Give Grace were grace is due and not always judge people right off the bat. Place was perfect for us and had a great view and would stay there again and hope to be able to try the restaurant then. Praying for Chris to be free of pain soon.
